Dear Sweet Ella,
We chose your name, Ella, because it meant "beautiful" and we knew despite everything you would be our beautiful baby girl. We were right. You were just perfect with warm pudgy skin and the softest dark brown hair.
We will always remember your feisty spirit. Every time we went to the doctor for tests you would shock the nurses and doctors as you would strongly and suddenly kick away their probes when they poked Mom's tummy. We knew that a life of surgeries, tests and machines was not for you, so we lovingly made the hardest decision of our lives to let you go.
The few precious moments we had with you will be with us the rest of our lives: when you kicked Dad's hand for the first time on Father's Day, how you always woke up each night and wiggled in Mom's tummy when she sang lullabies, how you opened your eyes just one time in the delivery room when your first heard Mom's voice and how you peacefully passed from this life into the next as Dad held you in his arms and sang to you.
You are loved by so many people. The time was not long enough for everyone to show you how much they loved you.
We will always miss you.
Love Mom and Dad
