Audrey's obsessed with two things Elmo and the ABC's. She's super excited when she gets read an Elmo story book or watch Elmo singing the ABC's on YouTube. Fortunately, for our sanity there are quite a lot of these videos to choose from. She has her own playlist and gets to watch every morning while mom and dad get ready for work.
Audrey also loves music and singing. Her favorite songs are of course the ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, If You're Happy and You Know It, and I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumble Bee. She usually yells out requests from the backseat in the car. Usually, we sing her a lullaby every night before bed. Its been the same song since she was about 8 weeks old. This month she started requesting that we sing the ABC's instead. This girl is expressing her own opinions left and right.
Along with her own opinions are coming temper tantrums when we say no to something. She's already started immediately turning around asking the other parent if one of us says no. Then she usually runs around the house screaming, crying and hitting the wall: frustrated that she can't have exactly what she wants when she wants it.
