Weight: 20 lbs 02 oz (87%) - other babies are slowly catching up to our chunky monkey.
Favorite things: Audrey loves to jump! She jumps while sitting on the bed, jumps in your lap, on the floor, everywhere. She also loves to bang toys together in her hands. Everything is a drum these days. She also loves playing pic-a-boo at every opportunity.
Food: Audrey hates baby food, or anything that is fed with a spoon. She bats the spoon away, closes her lips tight, grunts, cries, and turns her head away. She only likes foods she can put in her mouth herself. She is an independent and strong willed little girl already. For not talking yet, she is a great communicator about things she doesn't like.
First: Audrey is babbling more and more. She's getting good at saying "dada" to everything. Which makes Wesley very happy. For the first time this month, while saying good-bye to Wesley, she said "bye" while I helped wave her hand. Of course she was just mimicking us, but was so cute!
Audrey also went to her first birthday parties this month. One was a 1st birthday for a friend and the second was a 99th birthday for Julie's great Uncle Ralph in San Antonio.
We also took a trip to the lake and Audrey went on her first boat ride.
